This part number features 2 AFM valves and 2 NPP valves controlled by the same electronic valve actuators as the oem dual mode exhaust system, giving you full integration with the factory drive modes. This C8 Stingray catback exhaust system behaves just like your oem dual mode exhaust system, with the following benefits:

This part number does not open and close the npp valves with a REMOTE. If you would rather control the npp valves (which control volume output) with a remote, you would want the Level Up Dual Mode Exhaust For C8 Stingray With Remote NPP Valve Control.
With the Level Up exhaust for C8 Stingray with electronic npp valves, expect a fuller, more muscular tone that transform’s your Stingray’s LT2 engine note to one that’s more in line with the deep baritone thump that’s so iconic of the classic American V8. Want to change the volume output? Change drive modes to a more aggressive option or configure My Mode or Z-Mode to a more aggressive exhaust sound setting so the valves stay open.
To complete the package, this dual mode catback exhaust system also includes Active Fuel Management (AFM) valves that run with the oem AFM electronic valve actuators to preserve this functionality that all C8 Stingrays have from the factory. When Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray goes into 4 cylinder mode, the AFM valves close to add backpressure to the engine so it’s more balanced running on half the cylinders. By retaining the AFM valves on this exhaust system, you will avoid any strange drone/resonance when C8 goes into 4 cylinder mode.
Crafted from high quality 304 Stainless Steel and built with dual mode mufflers tuned for a deep, muscular tone and a clean, drone-free experience, you’ll be grinning from ear to ear when you wake up this beast. Although we haven’t weighed it yet, expect this system to save at least 15lbs pounds vs the oem system. We ran sound tests on this system and have seen gains on average of 10 decibels vs the oem system in loud mode!
High temperature heat shielding has been added to critical areas to keep heat under control. This high performance exhaust system includes round, 4″ carbon fiber tips with a metal inner skeleton. For maximum ride comfort and functionality, this system also includes Active Fuel Management (AFM) valves just like all oem C8 exhausts to keep drone in check when the engine goes into four cylinder mode.
The Level Up Dual Mode Exhaust With Electronic Valve Control includes all clamps and hardware needed for installation. Like any other aftermarket exhaust installation on C8 Corvettes, it’s essential to perform an afm valve reset after installation to avoid a CEL (check engine light).
